How to distinguish an educated person from the uneducated

If we ask ourselves a simple question: what distinguishes an educated person from the uneducated (for example, on a beach where everyone looks the same), then, after thinking, we will decide that this is primarily a speech. It is enough for us to hear a couple of phrases spoken by a stranger in order to approximately determine the level of his culture. It was not for nothing to remain silent and inflate his cheeks - otherwise he could quickly get to the core. So, the most important characteristic of an educated person is his speech.

Hence, we, claiming to be intellectually moral and educated (the rest can not read), it is necessary willy-nilly to comply with this. It is possible (yes, it is possible, we live in a free country :)) to say something to those who do not pretend to a high social status-after all, speech is a private matter for everyone. But if a person has declared his claims to the right to be called a specialist with a higher education, he simply needs to comply with the declared level. Otherwise, he discredits himself with his speech.

The conclusion is simple: literate speech is the most important indicator of the level of education. Graduates of Oxford University are distinguished by a characteristic pronunciation of an ulterior motive. This is their business card, which in England is
valued at least a diploma. Classical language- the destiny of rich and well-educated people, it is very important for such a conservative country as Britain, where the caste society remains.

But very soon, when education becomes exactly the same commodity, which you can master only for money, society will break up into literate and illiterate people ... and the second will be very difficult to get a decent job. Thus, our speech is our money.

How to Recognize an Intelligent & Educated Person?

Tell me, what criteria do you determine - smart person before you or not? The concept of "smart", in my opinion, is too contradictory. In one case, it goes to almost any educated person, and in the other it goes quite subjective, when we call smart only someone who only knows more than us at the moment, and that does not mean that he will seem smart to someone else .

Of course, you will not surprise anyone with education, and there are people who study all their life, are constantly interested in new knowledge, but does it add to the mind? Sometimes, it seems that a well-read person is more noticeable and interesting in judgments than just an educated person. But is it worth to consider knowledge in a particular area as something unique?

After all, each of us has different interests, for example, some photographer can call a smart cook, since he does not know how to cook deliciously, and the cook, on the other hand, will consider a wise photographer who knows how to competently talk about composition.

It is even more difficult to determine the wealth of the mind by external signs, because as we know "appearance is deceptive," although it serves as one of the primary differences, when, as they say, everything is written on the face when it seems that the person in the jacket and glasses is a priori clever. But once again I repeat, and this is deceptive.

Maybe, it's about non-ordinary and non-standard thinking? When a person is not afraid to think otherwise, he sees not only black or white, but also intermediate colors. Often such people move progress. Although this can be said about creative individuals, who constantly create something new, unusual.

An important criterion is actions, the ability to make decisions confidently and courageously. It's easier to judge by deeds than by words. And it sometimes happens that it is not always possible to find smart words in a conversation, which may indicate, for example, the absence of rhetorical or literary talent.

But it is quite possible to pass for the clever if to make the right deeds in life, to be able to choose your environment, to be able to earn, to be able to competently operate in difficult situations ... But it does not always mean that you are smart if life is a success. Throughout life, we often make mistakes, but the main thing is to correct them wisely and take advantage of them. Smart will not miss the opportunity, take any chance to make life better.

And yet, they say, we grow older with age. But this is debatable.

So what am I talking about? The fact that it is difficult to uniquely identify an intelligent person.
